I help writers, artists, and creators of all kinds tend to their inner pilot light—especially when it feels like life has blown it out.
For over a decade, my life’s work has centered on helping others with the power of expression. As a former university English instructor, writing tutor, and developmental editor, I’ve spent years helping people find, trust, and refine their unique voices. In academic and professional settings, my focus has always been on encouraging the discouraged—meeting people exactly where they are on their journey and creating a supportive, inclusive space where they feel empowered to step into their work.
Then, I became a mother.
Among the beautiful, world-shifting joy of motherhood, I experienced a quiet, surprising grief: I lost my own creative fire. The energy, focus, and time I once poured into my creative life suddenly felt consumed by the demands of a new season. My inner spark didn’t vanish completely, but it dwindled to a tiny, flickering pilot light under the weight of everyday life.
Reclaiming my creative identity wasn't about forcing rigid discipline—it was about learning how to listen to my creative soul again with compassion, adapt to my current season, and build a new way of creating from where I actually was.
That journey transformed not just how I create, but how I support others.
Whether you are navigating a major life shift, balancing the demands of parenthood, recovering from burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from your creative self, I want you to know this: your creative spark isn't gone.
My approach combines a deep pedagogical foundation in process, feedback, and skill-building with a compassionate, human-centered holding space. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all advice or hustle culture. Instead, I offer practical frameworks, gentle holding space, and structured support tailored to your unique life—helping you quiet the inner critic, honor your current rhythm, and bring your work back to life.
No matter what season of life you find yourself in, you don't have to navigate the way back alone. Let’s tend to your fire together.
